Club Meeting Guest Speakers
The monthly CCCV Club Meeting has seen us have some legendary guest speakers. Having a guest speaker has been a new feature of our Club Meetings in 2015 and has been a resounding success!
Some of our guest speakers have included;
Jim Keogh
Jim Keogh 10 Times Bathurst 1000 competitor with a best finish of 5th, Jim raced Ford Hardtops, Holden Commodores and the classic BMW 635. He is a Melbourne lawyer who was the executer of Peter Brocks complex will. Jim has also worked with CAMS.

Don Stafford
Don is the Clubs CAMS approved scrutineer and all round good bloke. Don is an engine builder/machinist by trade and runs his business out of Campbellfield. Don has assisted with a lot of the club member’s motors or information regarding what direction to head.
John Bowe
John Bowe is a legend of Australian Motor Racing, having twice won the Australian Driver's Championship and the Australian Touring Car Championship in 1995. He also won the Bathurst 1000 race twice, 1989 and 1994.
Joe Calleja
Melbourne based businessman with a passion for fast cars. Joe has a fantastic collection of rare and classis cars including a couple of genuine Cobras. Joe is an accomplished race driver who is competing in Historic events in Australia and around the world.

Richard Bendall
MoTeC founder Director and lifelong motorsport competitor and the owner of Daytona Sports Cars. Richard has invented special valves, inlet manifolds and a myriad of other motorsport equipment. MoTeC systems are used all around the world by some of the worlds most recognised manufacturers.

Howard Reynolds
The founder of Race Brakes Melbourne has been involved with performance braking systems for over 40 years. Race Brakes also supply performance clutch systems and all the braking accessories like fluid and pads.

George Vidovic
George was one the first Cobra manufacturers in Australia. George drove Jeff Kennett across the Bolte Bridge in his Cobra when it opened in 1999. George has been involved with Cobras since the early 80’s and the first Cobra meeting was at GV Automotive.
Michael Beck
Michael’s company Evershine Waterless Autocare has been around since water restrictions were in place. The range of car care products are specifically formulated by Michael and his Bio-Chemists to deal with the harsh Australian environment and to save the planets vital water resources.

Allan Moffat OAM, V8 SuperCars Hall of Fame 1999
Active racing driver from 1965-1989, including 24 hours of Le Mans, Daytona 24 hours, Spa 24 hours and the 12 Hours of Sebring. Australian Touring Car Champion 1973, 1976, 1977 and 1983, 4 times Bathurst champion. Allan has achieved everything in Australian and International motorsport. He is now retired from racing but is busier than ever with the rise of Historic Racing internationally. Allan can now add successful author to his CV with the release of his latest book Climbing the Mountain.
Fred Gibson V8 Supercars Hall of Fame 2004
Active racing driver from 1968-1983, Bathurst winner 1967, Team owner/manager Nissan 1984-1992, Holden Commodore 1993-1999, Gibson Motorsports 2001. Fred was a fierce competitor and even more astute team manager/owner after his racing career. Fred is still present at Historic Meeting in Australia and selected events internationally. A fantastic person with a wealth of motor sport knowledge across different marks and the ability to communicate this knowledge to the vast motor sport community.
Ian Ross
A very successful Melbourne business man, car enthusiast and race car driver. Ian has a multitude of Shelby Mustangs, a CSX4000 Cobra, a genuine Group C XD Falcon to name a few of his extensive car collection. Ian’s passion for motorsport rubbed off in a big way with Fraser his youngest son who is now a semi professional Australian race driver.
