2017 Committee Dinner
ADDED BY:Webmaster, Monday May 22 2017 at 4:40:11 PM
Now an annual fixture for club members, the Committee dinner is held to recognise the effort made during the year by the Club President and the (usually loyal and hard working) members of the CCV Committee.

Good attendance again at "The Steak Bank" in Ormond where members enjoyed great food, a few drinks and an opportunity to catch up with members and partners in a relaxing environment. Thankfully the formalities were brief and speeches succinct.

The club enjoys an active and forward thinking committee led by Rohan and Jeremy and the strong support for this event is appreciated.

Thanks to The Steak Bank for its great hospitality.

Cobra run to Old Airplane Company in Tyabb

The promise of drizzle and grey skies all day didn't dent the enthusiasm of about 60 vintage aircraft enthusiasts who travelled to Tyabb in GT40s or Cobras to visit the Old Airplane Company workshop and museum on the southern Mornington peninsula on Sunday 30 th April.

There were about 25 Cobras and 10 GT40s.

A fantastic guided tour and explanation of various aircraft restoration projects in the workshop and exhibits in the museum was followed by a BBQ lunch at the Aero Club nearby.
Thanks to the GT 40 club for its involvement and to the generous time given by volunteers to maintain and present the aircraft display in such an interesting manner.
A truly massive turnout by Club members for an enjoyable outing.
