| 25 TH COBRA NATIONALS 2018
A strong contingent of drivers and spectators from Victoria attended the Nationals in Goulburn to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this iconic event that is everything Cobra. 70 cars across all states were registered to participate in track events across the 3 day event. Fine sunny conditions prevailed for the weekend with cool crisp mornings providing ideal driving and spectator conditions to start each day. Show and shine, slalom, go to whoa, and the hill climb added variety to the timed track sprint events over the weekend. Participants honed their performance to achieve the best they and their car could offer. Each evening , formal presentations were made to those achieving results in their class of event. Perhaps equally impressive was the attendance of past Victorian Club presidents Jason Millington , Tony Cram and Michael Barber , and current president Rohan Smith at the event and dinners. This years Nationals event provided lots of entertainment and opportunity for exposure to what makes Cobras great . Period correct examples of Cobras , Daytonas and a GT 40 accompanied contemporary interpretations and race specific versions of the iconic AC Cobra.
