CCCV January 2019 catch up
ADDED BY:Webmaster, Wednesday January 16 2019 at 3:04:57 PM
About 20 Cobras arrived for a group dinner at the Dava Hotel in Mount Martha. This coastal venue provided some great driving route opportunities for members to cruise to.
A good turnout enabled people to catch up informally and talk all things Cobra and share other important holiday experiences and news.

Thanks to Jeremy for organising the event and venue.

Look out for our event packed club calendar for February!

CCCV Mornington Peninsula Cruise 2018
ADDED BY:Webmaster, Monday November 26 2018 at 4:07:37 PM
This year we enjoyed "eleven out of ten" weather with clear blue skies and mild to warm conditions for this annual cruise which saw about 26 Cobras and 50 happy people participate.

The cruise started at the outbound BP on Penlink at Baxter. We assembled for a briefing, with Phil and Gregg tasked with keeping the group together. Well done boys.

We headed to Mornington and travelled the coast to Safety Beach overlooking clear blue water in each of the small coves we could see from the elevated road. At Safety Beach we headed inland through vine covered fields , coastal scrub and winding roads to Redhill and beyond to the coastal township of Flinders for morning coffee at the Flinders Bakehouse cafe.

Serious motoring was witnessed through the cork screw at Cape Shanck with a line of Cobras winding up and down on the way to Boneo, Fingal, St Andrews and on to Point Nepean Road at Rye. The coast road showcased the fantastic blue water of Port Phillip Bay all the way to Hotel Sorrento for preferred parking arrangements courtesy of our hosts, and a magnificent lunch in the Terrace overlooking the bay and passing boats.

An enjoyable morning of driving for all with the promise of great conditions for an easy drive home in the afternoon sun.

Thank you to the team at Flinders Bakehouse Cafe and Rob and Myles Pitt at Hotel Sorrento for looking after our large group.

The weather was stunning this year. Looking forward to next years cruise on the Mornington Peninsula.
